Like the notepads, I write in, when I write I like it to be an enjoyable sensation. I like to make sure that the pen flows well, the ink sits right on the page. We also, if in a meeting, want to show that we are someone they should be listening to.
Amazingly, from the time I have spent with people, everyone notices if you have a nice pen. It’s quite an obvious thing as its there, in front of everyone. People see a movement, you writing, and they notice the pen you are using (and the notebook you are writing in of course).
For that reason I only like to choose a quality pen. Of course, if you have the spare money then I would really just suggest a Mont Blanc Pen as they are just fantastic quality. Though, that quality does come at a cost – but its a pen for life.
If your looking for a quality pen, but not the higher prices, then I would suggest a Cross Pen. I have a few of these myself and they have served me very well for a number of years now. They are cheaper than the Mont Blanc but do still feel great quality, and the ink flows well for me.
Remember: A pen is both a writing instrument and a status signal. An expensive pen shows you have expensive taste.
