If there was one thing that wasn’t of abundance, one thing I like to drink daily, it was coffee. There was coffee available with our morning breakfast only. Any other coffee you had to go to the cafe or drink that awful stuff that comes out of the machines in the corridor.
Evening time, no coffee was available unless you have instant. Really was a bleak time for a coffee lover, which is why, if I were to go now, I would make sure I had a coffee machine to hand.
The one problem with coffee machines is they have too many moving parts so to speak. You need to store your coffee beans, hook up water, some need filters and so on. Todays technology can supply the answer to all these problems – its something I have at home now.
In a word – Nespresso.
Here we have a small coffee machine (depending on the version you get) that you use sealed pods to produce lovely Espresso. The best thing is, there are a number to choose from. Different coffee brands with different beans. I have my favourites.
The great thing is, the portability though. You can easily fill up the water container, plug it in, put in one of the pods and produce a lovely coffee to keep you going (or to just lavish on yourself). This too me is as important as the laptop that you take with you.
